Impolite Retries

(Conventional Emergency Profiles, General)

HGDefinitionMob%26Port.jpg

Selects the number of times that the radio attempts to transmit an impolite emergency mode Call (see the Emergency Type field selections). An impolite call is when the radio sends a transmission even when the a channel is busy with other radio traffic. These transmissions proceed by stepping on other channel traffic. Impolite Retries are aborted when an acknowledgment (Ack) of a successful emergency transmission is received back to the radio. This selection applies for the current Conventional Emergency Profile.

Polite Retries are automatically aborted by the radio when the Limited Patience Timer of  the DotYellow.png referenced Conventional System expires, and Impolite Retries automatically begin.
